For the past week every time I walk by my son’s room and look out his window this is the view I have seen. I always think to myself that I should run outside and capture a picture but last night I decided to open the window and get the entire view. I liked having the one burning bush on the lower right still in the picture, which would not be possible from outside. Luckily it was a nice evening so no one complained about the window being opened while I composed the picture…

Whenever I have to go to the high school I end up passing this view on one of the back roads. I always want to stop to capture a picture but usually it is not worth pulling over. The other day everything seemed to line up for me. The dark clouds hanging over the valley with the sun shining down closer to me. I really like the way the lines were illuminated…
