Juxtaposition

Saturday was a nice change of pace from the previous few days. The temperatures reached the lower 20’s and it felt absolutely wonderful outside comparatively speaking. I had an idea (I know, who would have thought) for a series of images I could use for the current week’s theme of square crop. I’m not quite done processing them yet so that post will be in a day or two, but when I was done I threw this golf umbrella in the yard. I really liked the bright yellow contrasting with the beautiful blue sky and I am always a sucker for a snow covered evergreen tree. 🙂

  1. Love the pop of color amidst all the white. Is your theme for the week something of your own choosing, or do you get your themes from somewhere?

    • I couple I met in Disney in October asked if I wanted to do a 52 week project with them. Nothing set in stone, we just pick a different theme each week and try to post 3 images by Friday. We comment and critique each other’s images to help us improve. The holidays have been tough but we should be back on track this week.
