Weekly Photo Theme – B&W
The theme this week was B&W images of which I am a huge fan. I wanted to try to do something a little different than normal standbys; water, game pieces, etc. I thought I would try to find architectural or street images by exploring around Rome, NY with the camera. I made a few excursions over the course of the week and have determined I am too timid for true street photography (also, not a lot of movement on the streets of Rome). This will have to be something I work on as I have always been impressed with the images I see on Google+. That leaves me with some architectural images or at least some portions of some… 😉

Love the antiques shop shot! You have a way with night time shots.
As far as street photography goes, I’ve been interested in the idea too but also timid about trying it. I seem to remember seeing something a couple years back that would let you cheat a little at this. It was a lens that let you point in one spot but really be taking a picture to your side; I assume it had mirrors in the side of the lens. I can’t remember the name of it but I remember thinking it would be fun to play with!
Thanks Karma! I have tried to include more people in my Disney images. But there everyone is so focused on their adventure they don’t notice me. I just need to get to a bigger city and do it.
Oh here it is! I want one of these! I think it would be fun – and not it isn’t too pricey either.
