Happy Birthday Mickey!

Walt Disney World

“I only hope that we never lose sight of one thing – that it was all started by a mouse.”

Steamboat Willie was released on November 18, 1928 at the Colony Theater in New York City.

I haven’t been to Walt Disney World since August 2019. Hopefully no one will complain if I replay some of my “art” images from WDW.

Let Them Fly

I said it a couple weeks ago and I still find it amazing, there are dandelions for me to photograph in November! On my walk through the sculpture garden I found myself running out into the grass to photograph dandelions. They were not as prolific as during the summer but there were a lot more than I anticipated for November. Of course I couldn’t pass up this opportunity…

Nowhere but up…

Midday

Another beautiful weekend, another midday walk with the macro lens. Although this image isn’t a macro image it is one of my favorites from the walk yesterday. I’m definitely a fan of the Griffiss International Sculpture Garden and Nature Trail. I find new things to photograph on every walk. This time I decided to walk down and investigate the water tower. I liked this view looking up the access ladder. The 60mm lens definitely helped compress the view and increase the feeling of being enclosed even though it is wide open.
