Decompress

Delta Lake State Park

The computer has been rebuilt. Still working through application installs and configuration, but it is functioning. Although, going through this process has highlighted the age my computer. Maybe it is related to me scouring the internet for a replacement “in case” I could not revive this bad boy. I have a feeling I eventually will do something crazy…

Work was long, even on a short week, so the call of the sunset brought me to Delta Lake. A few other individuals were on the beach enjoying the show presented by the setting sun. Once again I chose to stay with my 50mm prime lens. I’m loving the images I get with this lens.

      • I’m OK, Mike, thanks for asking. Husband has some serious health issues that are consuming our time. Been fighting cancer for about 18 months. I think he will be fine. He’s not so sure. It’s a delicate walk. He doesn’t want it out there, and I feel a need to write about it but I don’t. So it’s frustrating. No, the crazy thing I might do is buy another lens… :) that part would be good crazy!

      • Another lens is definitely a good crazy! 😊

All my best thoughts and vibes are being sent your way. Write it down, get the words out. You don’t need to post/send it but putting thoughts to paper (or word processor) can be cathartic.

    • So sorry to hear this Dawn. Trying to send my most positive energy your way.

I think some good crazy, as Mike mentioned, sounds like the right thing.

  1. Wonderful shot Mike! I really haven’t played much with my 50 or my 85mm primes and this is inspiring. I need to get my butt out there but the weather recently – UGH. Hoping for a chance to get out and do my own photo hunt this weekend.
