  1. Good morning Mike! I’ve been absent from the blogs for way too long. I’ve enjoyed scrolling through your photos from your new home area. I’m not sure if I should post about the 4 seasons photo challenge at this point, but I’m thinking of doing it. I bet you have enough to do a post using a shot from a previous year to complete yours since you moved before autumn began; I suppose your cycle would just be from autumn 2023 to summer 2024 if you cared to do so.

    • Good Morning Karma! I’ve been negligent in keeping up with everyone. I will definitely put a four seasons post together. And you are correct, I have plenty of images even though I abandoned NY just as autumn was gearing up to bring the color.

  2. How did I miss that you moved to Columbus GA?! My sister lived there for about 10 years, and just a year or so ago retired and moved over the river to AL which taxes are lower. Plus my brother lives in Valley too. So Flat Rock Park that I went to with Katie in maybe 2018 is the same Flat Rock Park you’re exploring! How weird is that!

Enjoy Columbus. The downtown area has a man made kayak white water area. I wouldn’t do the rafting, but sometimes it’s fun to photograph. And you found Calloway Gardens. There’s also the Southern White House of FDR near Calloway that’s really interesting. He went there for the hot springs.

And of course you’re kind of closer to Disney.

AND the Aquarium in Atlanta is fantastic.

I hope you enjoy your new place!

    • Thanks Dawn. I was kinda quiet about the move. I didn’t post much and leading up to the move I was not engaged on the blogs. Cool that we explored the same park. Yes, Callaway Gardens is wonderful. I became a member so I could explore more often. I’m only 29 miles from there. Things have finally settled down and I’m looking forward to exploring the area more.
