Time to Play

Flat Rock Park, Columbus, GA

Getting ready for work in the morning is one of my relaxation times. A cup of coffee by my side and no plans other than to eventually walk out the door toward the work day. Sometimes, it is my time to play. Sometimes I like to explore and others I just lose the time on useless things. For quite a long time it is when I process images and place words on a blank screen. I haven’t been doing much of that lately. Hopefully, I’m beginning to change…

I found a few play areas at Flat Rock Park the other day. They don’t especially feel like they have been used in a few years. I still like the colors and worn down look though, so I’m going to see if there is more to find in the park…

  1. Is that a dusting of snow there in those shots? I’ve been hearing about snow messing with some southern states this winter- Tennessee and North Carolina.

Your mornings sound much more relaxing than mine. I get up at 6:00 and I’m out the door at 6:30, in my classroom by 7:00 so that I can have half an hour of quiet to get ready for my day before my noisy kiddos arrive at school!

    • It isn’t snow but sand, although after today it might be snow as we are expected to get 1-3″ inches this afternoon. My daughter lives just north of Atlanta and she had snow two weekends ago. Crazy.

I’ve been getting up early for so long it is the way the day starts. I haven’t set an alarm in years and generally get up around 4am. It works getting me set for the day.
