I like benches. They always call to me to take a shot. Or sit. Or both.
I feel like you’re the forgotten one. I was in AL for a few days in June and totally didn’t remember to let you know to come over and climb the fire tower. I didn’t have the boat in the water, or I’d feel even worse at forgetting to contact you. I’m hoping to go down for Thanksgiving and maybe some time after that. If so the fire tower is an option if you’re in Columbus. Or a meetup at Flatrock park…or one of the others.
If you do visit AL later this year I would love to meet up with you.
I will be envious if you and Dawn get to meet up! But I will look forward to photos if you do! I like the different perspective with the bench – you are back to “playing” again, it seems, which I like. Sometimes we get so focused (pun intended) on getting the perfect shot, we forget to have fun.
Plus, I can’t let a bench go unphotographed… 🙂
