Columbus Botanical Garden
I spent the last three days of work in leadership training at the National Infantry Museum at Fort Benning. It was an interesting event. I’m not sure everything I learned can be applied to my style (do I have a style?), but I did come away with some very good stuff. Besides getting to know nine of my coworkers better I might have learned one or two things about myself (maybe… 😉 ).
I’m not sure if that information is relevant but I did want to share. This morning I went to the Columbus Botanical Garden with the hope of getting a few floral macros and let’s be honest, to get me off the couch and actually walk around. It was worth it!

This is just beautiful. What kind of work do you do? Was moving to GA a transfer with your employer or a brand new job?
I’m a quality engineer. I’ve been in the aerospace/defense industry for 35 years. I was working at Collins Aerospace and transferred to Pratt & Whitney here in Columbus. Both companies are part of RTX.
my youngest brother, now 65, worked in a lab at P&W many years ago.
So, so pretty! I’m glad you got off the couch!
I decided to purchase a membership to the botanical garden to encourage me to visit more often. It also has reciprocal entry at other gardens so maybe I’ll make my way up to the one in Atlanta.
