Callaway Resort & Gardens
If you are here, you probably know I love a good reflection in my images. I have been known to stop the car to capture a reflection. When I go to Callaway Gardens, there are plenty of opportunities for me. Add in some autumn color and I’m drinking the reflection Kool-Aid. I’m also fascinated by this walkway bridge in the Azalea Bowl area of the gardens. The close-up felt like it should be a painting so that is how I processed it…

So pretty. My mom always told me they got fall color down there. She was right!
A little, not like I did up in NY, but I’ll take what I can. 🙂
She insisted it was pretty in a different way. One year she mailed me dried leaves to ‘prove’ they had fall in AL. One fall, years ago, I did something similar to two friends of mine who moved to Florida. sent them a package of dried colored leaves to remind them of home. I know. My family is odd.
I always enjoy your reflection shots. I did Silent Sunday last week and I thought of you, it was a reflection. Will there be more color as the month continues? Peak color has definitely passed here, then we got the leftover wind from Hurricane Melissa and a lot of the trees are bare early.
Looks like some additional color is showing up here and there. Nothing like I’m used to though.
