Flat Rock Park, Columbus, GA
My walk at the park on the first of the year started off a little slow. I wasn’t “feeling it” and I had to get out of my head. I didn’t want to bring any expectations with me as I walked. All I was hoping to do was let myself see the little things around me. Then I found this little guy and smiled. Now I knew it was going to be a good walk…

This image makes me miss Alabama.
A good walk is judgement which I have learned is expectation. Oh yay… it just occurred to me why I got off the beam when trying to walk the earth as spiritual practice and talking images at the same time for me never worked. Being open for me and holding a preconceived agenda just by bringing camera were my own will! Thanks never noted this cause before. Love the joy of noticing.
No expectations is the way to go. Walk and enjoy, and if a fun shot presents itself all the better.
