Through the Fallen Leaves

Buttermilk Falls Sate Park

This section of the gorge trail at Buttermilk Falls State Park had been clogged with fallen trees. There were sections of the trunks lodged in the creek after they passed the waterfall. I didn’t like how the arrangement ruined the composition (IMO) and I haven’t photographed this section in a couple of visits. I was quite happy to see everything was back to normal when I walked the trail a few weeks ago. Having the fallen leaves scattered on both sides of the gorge really punctuated the feeling of autumn for me…

After a long list of Autumn images from my previous weekend excursion I thought I would end the week on a slightly different tone. I returned to vacation at Walt Disney World to find this one of the Casey Jr. Splash and Soak station in the Fantasyland section of the Magic Kingdom. If I am remembering correctly the rains had stopped briefly and I was running around grabbing images with as many reflections in the water as I could. I loved the blue hour sky blending perfectly with the colors of this area…
