Today is the 50th anniversary of the opening of the Magic Kingdom in Walt Disney World! I didn’t make my first trip there until the summer of 1973 but I believe I have since made up for any lack of visits in my early years. I would have loved to be in the park today. I can only imagine the festivities that will be occurring. I can also imagine the number of people and that is why I’ll wait for a slightly quieter time to go partake in the celebration.
