Lower Falls
Taughannock Falls State Park
Generally when I drive to Ithaca to photograph the state parks, the first park I visit is Taughannock Falls. It is a great warm up park. What I mean by that is the trail is easy to walk, fairly short and the reward at the end is the majestic 215′ waterfall. But don’t make a beeline for the prize. Not 200′ from the parking area is Lower Falls. This is a beautiful, 20′ cascade falls and always my first image when I visit this park.
