Boat Wake

I hadn’t been down to the canal park at the bottom of Rome most of the summer. Last night the sky was clear and I felt the chance for any nice sunset images were slim. I had a great time exploring along the canal. The opportunities were plenty; kayakers, ducks, fishermen, etc., but what really caught my eye was the wake from the party boat as it slowing moved down the canal.

Squared – SQ07

Another in the Squared series. A small section of the Niagara River just prior to the American Falls. The best view of the falls is from the Canadian side of the river. The traffic was more than I cared to wait through and I had never explored Goat Island which is home to Niagara Falls State Park. I found this little section of turbulent water along a path from Luna Island toward the pedestrian bridge to the observation tower.
