Florida Bound!

Vacation Time

Today is the day! Vacation!

I’ll be flying down to Florida for a week of relaxation and photography. My last few trips down to the Sunshine State have been as chauffeur with a little exploring once I’m in state. This week will be all about the exploring. I’ll be spending some time at Vero Beach checking out all the great locations along the east coast and then I will be heading to Disney for a photography meet-up. I’m looking forward to capturing more images like these two.

Low Tide Sunset

Delta Lake State Park

Well, to be honest there are minimal tidal swings on Delta Lake but saying the water level is low is not as dramatic. Actually the water level is lower than I have ever seen in recent years. I was standing at the water’s edge to capture this image and I would normally have been in 4-5 feet of water. It will be interesting to see how the lake does as the year closes…
