A few weeks ago I stopped at my neighbor’s house to ask if it was OK for me to photograph the daffodils that line his driveway. He was great, pointing out all the other flowers in the yard I should photograph. Now he comes over to let me know when a new blossom arrives.
The image below is a Japanese Peony. That blossom is bigger than a grapefruit! We walked around the yard after I captured a few images so he could show me more opportunities that will be available soon. I’m really looking forward to the water lilies on his pond. He is going to mow the bank better so I’ll have a clear view.
I need to get a few of the images printed and framed for him…

Beautiful flower!!!
Thanks! My neighbors make it easy by growing the beauties!
Very beautiful! I love to take photos of that flower.
Thanks. Waiting for my own to blossom but I feel it will pale in comparison to this one.
What a cool neighbor! I love peonies – I’ve never seen one of this variety. Very nice!
Thanks. He has always had great flowers, lucky for me he wanted to share his floral bounty once he found out I’m hooked on photography!
