For this image I’m returning to last month when I trekked up to Pixley Falls State Park to catch some of the autumn colors. It has become one of my go to locations for waterfall images. I am always impressed with the way the streams change appearance depending on the water levels and time of year. Plus, with all the rain we have been having I preferred looking at a little color versus the muddy brown everywhere right now.

What a beautiful, beautiful image. From front to back, just incredible.
Thank you! I am fascinated with water and capturing the flow.
I love the almost cryptically absorbed foreground as it gels so seamlessly with the main subject. Everything in the frame just fits beautifully.. A truly stunningly orchestrated capture.
Rockin’ the casbah with this beauty, Mike. 🙂
Thanks Frank! Can’t help but capture the long exposure water pics.
