West Canada Creek
A door opened… today I start a new job. Back to what I know, but something more. Hopefully, I haven’t forgotten.
Not closing a door… although I left, I do not want to forget. Friends are a precious commodity and the ones I made over the past two years I do not want to lose. I will stay in-touch with all of them.
I went up to the West Canada Creek yesterday before the sun completely dropped below the trees. The rains over the weekend provided the creek with the volume I needed to capture more turbulent flow. I also needed the serenity the sound of rushing water always brings me. I spent an hour playing in the creek… totally needed that time.
I will be thinking of you…
International Flower & Garden Festival
Epcot, Walt Disney World
Next to the Mexico Pavilion in Epcot, before the Donald Duck meet & greet area, is a pathway to the side entrance of the pyramid. Along this path you can find a variety of Orchids. In the Spring during the Flower & Garden Festival is your best opportunity. Once I found this area I make a point to return every visit to see what flowers are available. I can always find a beautiful subject for my camera…

The best way to spend my lunch hour was exploring Old Erie Canal Park in DeWitt with my macro lens on the camera. Typically, I go to the park for the landscape pictures, but today I was looking for the small details. Off the normal path and into the woods along Butternut Creek I found an interesting section of vine. I liked how the very end wrapped around itself…
