The Inner Sanctum

Monochrome, Dandelion

It felt like forever since I had visited the Old Erie Canal Park in DeWitt during lunch. I definitely needed the visit! Long work days and miserably rainy weather of late left my batteries needing a recharge. I decided to focus on the small detail so I left the macro lens attached, changed into my hiking shoes and headed off down the path through the woods.

Of course, one of the subjects I find would be dandelions. I can’t help myself. The delicate, intricate details draw me in every time. Half the fun is finding the right dandelion to photograph. On this one I wanted to highlight the amazing structure of the dandelion head at the center of the puff ball… 🙂
