Mohawk River Trail
Late yesterday morning was a good time for a walk. It was warm but not hot with a small breeze to cool you off when needed. I thought another walk along the Mohawk River Trail would do me good. I packed a few lenses into a small messenger bag and headed out. There was no specific destination for this walk, the walk itself was the goal.
Before I even reached the start of the trail I decided I was going to capture as much as I could with the camera. When I started playing with cameras a few years ago I would capture images of everything. Now I have it in my head that every has be something I would print and hang on my wall. I don’t play with the camera as mush as I used to do when I was beginning. On this walk walk, if it caught my eye, I would photograph it and put it into a post.
I started with macro lens. The beginning of the trail does not have many scenic views but typically provides many opportunities for macro images. I slowed down my walk and let every color or spot of light have my focus. Little details most people would walk past deserved a look through the lens.
A lovely walk! I took a few sort of similar shots this morning on my morning walk with Katie. She walks so slow now she didn’t even get impatient with me. 🙂 Love your images.
Thanks Dawn. I need to learn to slow down a little on my walks as well… a lot to see if you stop and look.
Everywhere.
So lovely 🙂
