Delta Lake State Park
I was almost at the limit of my stay the other evening at Delta Lake. Although I had on gloves they were not enough for the wind and my fingers were beginning to feel the cold. I spotted this group out of the corner of my eye walking into my scene. I zoomed in and waited. The dogs were excited to be outside and timing the shot was challenging. I wanted to have the individual isolated but it didn’t materialize. I liked this one with the lead dog looking ahead and the person and the trailing dog obviously walking. Right after this I headed to the car to warm up.

My husband always waits till people move out of his shot, but I often like the energy and perspective people bring to an image.
I thought I would try something different, normally I would not want people cluttering up my landscape… LOL
Glad you braved the cold and captured this, Mike. Love the silhouetted figures and sunset.
Thanks Jane! Not a typical subject for me but I like how it turned out.
