Midday, Floral, Macro
The recent return of cooler temperatures have only increased my dreams for summer. The walks last weekend have me anxiously awaiting the arrival of more floral subjects. Yes, landscapes are my thing but I still find the search for an interesting macro image very satisfying.

Hi Mike! Lovely image and I am with you on anxiously awaiting warmer weather ( we also had a flirtation with it last week here in MA) and more flowers! I have a question for you about your lens. Is the Zuiko 60mm a macro lens? Do you love it? You may remember from back in the day that I was a Canon girl, and I’ve recently become an owner of a Canon Mark 50 compact mirrorless. Canon makes a 28mm macro for this camera – with a built in LED light! – that I’ve been considering picking up used. I have a nice wide angle for it , and a decent zoom telephoto. Macro is next on my wish list.
Hi Karma! Great to hear from you. Yes, the 60mm is my macro lens. In the warmer weather it is on my camera more than another other lens. I would love a lens that includes a light. OM Systems has a macro flash setup for the 60mm that I continually debate about buying. Go for it! You will be amazed at what you will find with it… 🙂
