Bellamy Harbor Park
It was a long week. We also had an EF-2 tornado slice its way through Rome. Thankfully, no casualties, but quite a lot of damage. The city will be recovering for quite a while, but to see how everyone comes together is very encouraging.
This morning was not a day to sit on my butt. I went to Bellamy Harbor Park for the colors of the morning before sunrise. I processed this one quickly to be able to show it off…

Beautiful photo! Glad to hear there were no casualties. A very scary tornado ripped through this area in 2011. I’m sure I blogged about it back in the day. Parts of its path are still evident in the patterns through the trees.
Love the purple hues in this one.
I live in “tornado alley” and dread every severe thunderstorm warning, especially when there is a risk of tornadoes.
It was an experience I don’t need again…
