Walking the trail near the Butterfly Center I came upon this bench. I had the macro lens still on the camera but I was able to get enough distance to make this image. I loved the weathered look, the light in the trees behind the bench and the leaf covered path. My first thought was to convert this image to look like a painting, or at least my version of a painting… 🙂

I love solitary benches out in nature. (Especially if I’ve been walking a long time!)
There were quite a few benches along the trails but this one really caught my eye.
Found it! (I’ve been catching up on your posts and this spoke to me quite deeply so wanted to revisit it but then lost it in the scrolling abyss!)
This poor bench has had to suffer my continued focus. I generally grab a shot of it every visit to Callaway Gardens.
Lucky bench! 😁 Seriously though, I don’t think this version could be beat, especially as a MLCreations “painting.” I feel very soulfully connected to it.
