Lily of the Water

Columbus Botanical Garden

Have I mentioned I purchased a membership to the botanical garden?

No?

Well, I did!

I was not opposed to paying for each visit as I feel supporting the garden is a good thing. But, if I purchase the membership I have 300 other gardens throughout the country that have reciprocal entry. Do you hear me Atlanta Botanical Garden? I’m coming for you… one of these days. 🙂

This morning I arrived to see quite a lot of workers throughout the garden. They were busy weeding and decluttering as well as getting ready for the October events. A large display of scarecrows is starting to surround the garden (pictures to follow once the displays are set). I managed to stay out of the workers way while getting my images.

I’m quite happy with the water lily I found…

  1. So pretty! I love the reflection and the water ripples too! I’ll look forward to your shots from other botanical gardens. There is one here in MA I was thinking of joining. I didn’t get there in the nice weather this year unfortunately.
