So pretty.
So pretty. My brother (from Charlotte) was just down at the lake in Dadeville. He didn’t say whether my mom’s camellias made it through the cold. Of course he doesn’t notice things like that. He was down to check on the underside of the dock while the lake was still down. Made a few repairs and now he’s back in Charlotte. I sure miss the early spring down there.
It was been an interesting Spring so far. I’ve been lucky with the blossoms in my area. The cold only temporarily impacts the camellias, they seem to bounce back quickly.
Lovely. I was hoping for some floral opportunities in Florida, but there was not much in bloom where I was. I would’ve liked to have gone to a botanical garden, but my companions on this trip had other ideas.
I’ll be in Orlando next week. Staying near Disney Springs but I’m not going to any of the parks. One of my plans is to visit Bok Tower Gardens which is in Lake Wales. I’m hoping to find some blossoms.
