Cocoa Beach Morning

Near the end of my holiday vacation in Florida I was able to make it Cocoa Beach. Honestly, it was for the pier at sunrise. I was driving back from dropping my son off at the Orlando airport the previous day and could not believe the colors in the sky. The timing was off as I was unable to get to the coast (Cocoa Beach) before the sun climbed too high into the sky. So I was hoping for the same conditions the next day. They were not as good as I had seen driving but I was able to make do with what I got… 🙂

When you are on the East Coast of Florida you have to search out unique locations to capture the sunset. Luckily, I know some pretty nice spots along the Indian River that never let me down during the sunset. Of course, it helps that the sky really gets into the show…

Moonrise Over Indialantic

The drive to Florida was thankfully uneventful other than a lot of delays through the highly populated areas in New Jersey, Maryland and Virginia. Once we were able to set the cruise control south of Richmond, VA, the trip went by fairly quickly. After getting everything settled in the Airbnb I snuck out for a few pictures of the moon rise over Indialantic, FL. I’m really excited to explore fore of my favorite locations along the East Coast of Florida…
