When in Nashville

3rd & Lindsley Bar & Grill

I am down in Nashville being trained for work… well, they are attempting to train me, who knows, it might work out. Anyway, we have found ourselves with time after class to explore the city. Luckily our hotel is near downtown. Tuesday night we cruised along Broadway checking out all the places to eat and hear live music. Last night we ended up at 3rd & Lindsley Bar & Grill for a concert with Lucas Hoge and Rodney Atkins.

OK, time to confess, not a person who generally listens to country music but I did grow up listening to all the “originals”, i.e., Loretta Lynn, George Jones, etc. Besides, I was hungry and we could get some grub too. I have to admit it was a damn good time. Both performers were entertaining. I brought my “little” camera, the Olympus E-M10, and attempted to get some pics. You let me know how I did…

  1. Glad you enjoyed your visit. I grew up in Nashville and have lived here 58 years. It will always be home to me. I hope you found the people welcoming here. I personally have never been a big country music fan but it’s okay and fun to listen to every now and then. Great photos!
